Samsung Readying Tizen Based Z1 Follow Up

Samsung does not like to hang around and the company has already said that it plans to launch numerous smartphones (and indeed products) carrying its Tizen platform this year. The first Tizen based smartphone, the Samsung Z1, launched back in January and reports suggest that the Korean company is already planning a follow up.

Sprint Sends out Android 5.0 Update for LG G3

Sprint has confirmed that it is currently sending out Android 5.0 Lollipop to its customers running the LG G3 flagship smartphone. The update is available OTA and comes with a slew of new features, such as the bunch of new additions in the Android Lollipop experience. Those include Android TV support, Lollipop Material Design, Project Volta improved battery life, and enhancements to notifications and a new "Recent Apps" menu.

Huawei P8 to be Joined by Lite Version

Huawei has long been rumored to be launching its new P8 flagship at a special press event that will be held in London on April 15th. The company's follow up to the Ascend P7 is almost certainly to arrive and the Chinese giant has even started sending out invites for the launch event. However, Huawei will have a surprise in store when the P8 does arrive as there will also be a "lite" version of the handset.
