Microsoft Apps Come Pre-Installed on Samsung Products

Microsoft makes a lot of money from Android, and the company is certainly going to be looking for ways to cross platforms more often in the future. Teaming up with the biggest Android name, Samsung, is certainly one way to go about it. When Samsung launched the Galaxy S6 earlier this month, one of the big surprises was the inclusion of several Microsoft apps and services pre-installed on the Android running flagship.

Meizu Android Lollipop Roadmap Leaked

Meizu has been making some moves in the market over the last year with its Chinese exclusive handsets. The company's devices have ranged from very good to excellent, while sales have increased enough for Meizu to be a threat to major brands in its homeland. However, while the smartphones the company makes are bursting with quality, they are still lagging slightly behind in terms of software.

T-Mobile to Offer Lumia 640

T-Mobile has confirmed it will carry the Lumia 640, a smartphone that Microsoft announced at the Mobile World Conference alongside the Lumia 640 XL. T-Mobile has listed the Lumia 640, confirming that it will offer the LTE variant of the handset, but on the company's official website it is listed as "coming soon".

AT&T Lollipop Update for Galaxy Note 4 Loses Interruptions

AT&T's Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is going to be receiving a new version of Android 5.0 Lollipop, the same one that was rolled out for the device in the Netherlands recently. This newer build of Android 5.0 gets rid of the much maligned "Interruptions" that replaced "Mute" on Google's OS. Muting the device now needs to be done by entering the Quick Settings Menu, instead of using the volume.

Xiaomi Ferrari with Mid-Range Specs

Brand tie in or just codename? A new Xiaomi smartphone has found its way to GFXBench for benchmarking scores and is using the name "Ferrari". Is Xiaomi working with the Italian sports car manufacturer in the same way BlackBerry and Porsche did, or is this merely a codename? The latter is more likely, but a Ferrari smartphone would be something we would like to see whether it is with Xiaomi or not.

HTC Butterfly 3 Due April/May with Quad HD Screen

The new version of HTC's Butterfly range has been rumored for the best part of a month, and we already know it will be a typically flagship bothering smartphone. The Japan exclusive (it will likely get a global roll out later under a different name) will be the first HTC handset to carry a Quad HD screen. Yes, not even the company?s recently announced One M9 flagship can boast that.
