Tim Cook Defends iPad Amid Declining Sales

In fact, Cupertino?s slate has been a problem (and a declining business for some time now, but Apple CEO Tim Cook remains bullish about the iPad's future prospects and its position in the market.

Verizon posts mixed Q3 financials

Verizon, the largest carrier in the United States, posted its third quarter financial results and revealed a mixed bag in terms of performance. Big Red fell below analyst predictions for per share price, clocking in at $0.89 instead of the estimated $0.92 through the period. However, there was some growth for the carrier through the period.

T-Mobile adds EYE Experience to HTC One M8

T-Mobile has issued the EYE Experience update for its variant of the HTC One M8 flagship smartphone. The new camera focused software offers a slew of new features and launched on the Desire EYE two weeks ago, but will find its way to most HTC handsets in the coming weeks and months.

Nokia HERE Maps lands on Android

Just recently Nokia launched its HERE Maps service for select Samsung Galaxy devices through Samsung's own app service. Now the Finnish company is going a step further and has rolled out HERE Maps for the wider Android community. The app is not yet available on the Google Play Store but it should land in the near future.

Apple's massive Q4: $42.1 billion revenue, $8.5 billion profit

Apple has announced its Q4 (calendar Q3) results and the numbers are typically outstanding, as good as they have ever been during the September quarter actually. It was the biggest fourth quarter the company has ever recorded while overall earnings and income were up considerably over (the also bumper) third quarter period.
