Moto Maker arrives in Germany

Moto Maker helped to put Motorola back on the map, while it also gives the flagship Moto X an edge that rivals devices simply do not have. However, Moto Maker was a US exclusive for a long time before rolling across the Atlantic to the UK. Now the service has arrived in Germany, just like Motorola promised it would way back in February.

Microsoft to launch smart watch in October

Microsoft is a full blown hardware company and Redmond is now producing smartphones through its acquisition of Nokia and tablets with its Surface line. The software giant is also looking to branch out into the wearable space for the first time with its own smart watch, a response to a slew of wrist gadgets that have landed in the last two years.

The Android 4.4.4 tour continues as Google's latest version of its mobile platform continues to roll out to devices. The next to get the 4.4.4 treatment are the Google Play Editions of the HTC One M8 and M7, two handsets that have already had the bump to Android 4.4.3.
