Microsoft interested in licensing Nokia name for smartphones Posted: 30 Jun 2014 02:21 PM PDT It has been reported today that Microsoft is looking to licence the Nokia brand for its own products after buying Nokia's devices and services division earlier this year. Any such deal would allow Microsoft to build and release smartphones and other products in the future with the Nokia brand. Read the full story here. |
Android L has big camera plans Posted: 30 Jun 2014 01:33 PM PDT Google laid it all out in terms of its roadmap for Android at the company's I/O conference last week. Android will become a platform that crosses form factors and niches to become the be all and end all product for Google. Android L will be the next smartphone and tablet release as Google is very much sticking with the form factor that started it all. Sony updates Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact, and Z Ultra to Android 4.4.4 Posted: 30 Jun 2014 10:14 AM PDT Last week Sony revealed that three of its Xperia devices were getting updated to Android 4.4.4 KitKat in the near future.
