Google maybe winning the platform war with Android enjoying a dominant market share over iOS, but it is Apple that is running away with all the cash it seems. Google's platform makes it plenty of money, but OEM's who build Android devices are struggling to make profits from mobile sales... what's that saying about there being no money in Android?

Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe Brings Edgy Design to the Party

Asus has updated its flagship smartphone line with the launch of the ZenFone 2 Deluxe at IFA in Berlin today. The Taiwanese company unveiled the device for the press after launching the new ZenWatch 2 wearable at the trade expo. While the specs of the new Deluxe remained unchanged against the ZenFone 2 launched earlier in the year, the new handset does come with a bold and different design.

Asus has beefed up its smartphone portfolio with a couple of new ZenFone products, including this, the ZenFone Max. This week we have seen Lenovo reveal the Vibe P1 with a massive 5000mAh battery, and now Asus has followed suit with the Max, a handset that also packs a 5000mAh juicer.
