ZTE Schedules March 25 Event for Nubia Z9 Unveiling

While expected to launch its Nubia Z9 flagship at the Mobile World Conference last week, ZTE opted to skip the event. The widely rumored device is still imminent though, with the Chinese company apparently ready to announce the handset before the end of this month.

HTC Desire EYE Getting Android Lollipop Soon

The HTC Desire EYE is a very good smartphone, it is very close to being a flagship device, while it has a very good camera experience with the EYE technology. Released last September, the EYE has yet to get the bump to Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the older HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 have. However, the HTC Desire EYE is going to be getting the bump to Google's new platform very soon.

Most flagship smartphones have already been bumped to Android 5.0 Lollipop, and in fact some are nearing the Android 5.1 update. However, Sony has been dragging its feet and has yet to upgrade its Xperia Z flagship range to the latest and greatest Android build from Google.

LG has made it clear that the G4 flagship is imminent, the company has had a policy recently of being very forthcoming about launches. The Korean giant also spends a lot of money, and it does not always work. For example, the company spends a lot of money on advertising, but sales slipped last year despite the expenditure.
