Samsung Galaxy S6 Already Has 20 Million Orders

Samsung seems to have its mojo back. The company announced the Galaxy S6 last week and the device seemed to hit the mark with consumers and commentators alike. After a disappointing year and sales of the Galaxy S5 falling flat, the Galaxy S6 represents a new start for the Korean company. Of course, the true litmus test for the S6 and Samsung's success moving forward will be sales, and in that respect too, the handset is off to a good start.

LG Plans to Sell 10 Million Units of the G4

Last year LG launched the G3 and had arguably the best smartphone on the market. Indeed, the handset still stands up now, even when it is up against much newer devices. LG even managed to get one over Korean rival Samsung, but the Galaxy S6 launched last week may have stolen the initiative back from LG. Not to worry, the company says that the upcoming G4 flagship will once again put LG just back when it is launched in either April or May this year.

Samsung has been quick in getting its Galaxy A series up and running. It started with the Galaxy Alpha last August, a handset that changed Samsung's smartphone ethos and its premium design as paved the way for the Galaxy Note 4 and the new Galaxy S6.

Asus Announces ZenFone 2 Prices; Yes, It's Affordable

Asus has finally announced the final pricing for its ZenFone 2 range. Announced at CES 2015 in Las Vegas back in January, there are a number of ZenFone 2 smartphones (not even counting the ZenFone 2 Zoom). The entry level device is as affordable as we thought it would be, but even the flagship of the range is coming with a very enticing price tag.

Oppo Smartwatch to Charge in Five Minutes

Just about all the major mobile brands have launched a smartwatch, while others have announced wearables on the way (here's looking at you Apple). It is now the turn of the growing up and coming companies to follow suit, and the latest rumoured to be joining the smartwatch race is Oppo. The Chinese company known for well spec'd whacky smartphones will apparently announce the wearable alongside its upcoming Find 9 flagship handset.

HTC One M9 Could Launch March 25th

HTC announced the One M9 flagship last week at the Mobile World Conference and the divided opinion right down the middle. HTC did not confirm the exact price or the exact launch date for the One M9, but it will of course be in line with flagship cost. A New York based retailer, B&H, may have just let the proverbial cat of the bag and listed the cost and US launch date.

Apple Watch to Take 55% of Smartwatch Market Share

Expectations for the Apple Watch have gone from modest to hugely optimistic, but one consensus seems to hold true, the device will sell well. In fact, no matter which research company you source, they all think the Apple Watch will become a defining wearable and the most successful so far too. Strategy Analytics has now added its own predictions and says that the Apple Watch will shift 15 million units through 2015.
